DEALER group Motorpoint has started the search for Scotland’s ugliest car.
A ‘pimp my banger’ competition for customers has been launched – with the winner receiving a ‘pimped’ car in time for Christmas.
Motorpoint has asked Scottish customers to dig out their ugly cars. The worst will be restored in the company’s state of the art Glasgow garage.
Paul Winfield, operations manager of Motorpoint, said: ‘We know that the credit crunch is hitting our customers, so we thought this would be our way of making someone’s car dreams come true.
‘I’d encourage anyone from Scotland to enter and let us have a look under their bonnet.
‘Our mechanics in Glasgow are some of Scotland’s best. They plan to work tirelessly to make sure our winning entrant has a shiny almost-new car to unwrap for Christmas.’
Customers can enter by e-mailing images to [email protected]. Entries close at 12 noon on Monday 8 December.
