Car Dealer Live – our insight-packed day for the motor trade – is set to host two inspiring headline speakers when it takes place on March 19.

The event, sponsored by Auto Trader, brings together leading members of the automotive industry to share their advice for car dealers.

Leading the packed event will be two talented automotive industry professionals – used car dealer Sohib Ghafouri and Peugeot managing director Nicola Dobson.

Tickets for the event, being held at the British Motor Museum at Gaydon, are currently on sale with Early Bird prices on the Car Dealer Live website.

Dobson has worked for Peugeot for nearly 26 years, starting out with the business as a graduate in 2000.

She has held various roles within the company – and the wider Stellantis business – including marketing director for Citroen, director of used vehicle operations for Stellantis and was appointed MD for Peugeot in January.

Dobson appeared at Car Dealer Live in 2024 when she held her used car position, but at the 2026 event will sit down with our editors to discuss her inspiring journey in the motor trade.

She said: ‘I am delighted to attend Car Dealer Live again next year to speak about business for Peugeot and our retailer partners, our strategy and the important aspects that we face together in our industry.’

Monumental growth

Our second headline speaker, Sohib Ghafouri, started his used car business just three short years ago.

A civil engineer turned project manager, he turned his back on his profession where he’d worked with blue chip companies including JP Morgan and BP before deciding he wanted a crack at the motor trade.

Ghafouri said: ‘I’ve always had a strong passion for cars since my formative years.

‘I created Infinity Motors in 2021 with the ambition of managing my own car dealership. From a humble beginnings of a basic five-car set up out of a small, serviced office, I laid the foundations to enable rapid growth and impact.

‘Now we operate out of a fantastic showroom and forecourt and recently added a preparation centre that contains 16 ramps and 2 MOT bays.’

Ghafouri sells close to 200 cars a month and employs 40 people. He will explain how he has used data to build his business and take the leaps needed to grow his dealership.

He added: ‘I am exceptionally proud of our achievements in the time we have been operating, but will always endeavour to improve in every way we can.’
