Arnold Clark has opened a new Motorstore in Telford, creating almost 30 jobs and offering customers a choice of more than 250 vehicles on site.

The dealership, located at Stafford Park 2, has officially opened its doors, selling a mixture of new, pre-registered, used and nearly new cars.

Customers will also be able to access more than 30,000 vehicles from 36 manufacturers across the wider Arnold Clark network, including models from Audi, Tesla and Ford, said the company.

The opening has created almost 30 jobs across several departments, including sales, customer service, accounts and valeting.

The new site will operate seven days a week, with opening hours extending until 7pm from Monday to Friday.

As well as vehicle sales, the Motorstore will offer finance packages and aftersales services.

Roch Starrs, brand director at Arnold Clark, said: ‘We’re thrilled to open Arnold Clark Telford Motorstore. Our new Motorstore gives customers in Telford and the surrounding areas access to a fantastic choice of vehicles and great-value deals.

‘We look forward to welcoming customers through the doors, helping them explore the fantastic range on offer, and supporting them every step of their journey.’

To mark the opening, Arnold Clark also launched a competition at Telford Shopping Centre, hiding a mystery vehicle inside a specially branded box.

Shoppers were invited to guess the identity of the car for a chance to win it.
