Ford has launched a new online store for genuine used car parts.
Called Ford Certified Used Parts, the carmaker says the store brings genuine components ‘into a single, trusted shopping experience, expanding the options available to customers when maintaining and repairing their vehicles’.
Available at usedparts.ford.co.uk, the store is operated by Autonative, Ford’s ecommerce partner for aftersales, and is run in collaboration with vehicle recycling firm Charles Trent.
Sarah Brettle, director at Ford’s Customer Service Division in the UK, said: ‘Ford Certified Used Parts is an extension of Ford’s existing product offering, designed to ensure affordability throughout the vehicle lifecycle.
‘This programme is designed to deliver quality, value and convenience.’
Each part listed on the platform is individually inspected, graded and photographed, so customers can see exactly what they are purchasing before completing their order.
Components are offered across two grades, giving a clear choice depending on preference, while maintaining consistent fit and function.
Rebecca Smart, managing Director of Autonative, said: ‘This is about removing friction from the process. Customers know what they need, but until now, accessing quality used parts hasn’t always been straightforward.
‘By bringing everything into one place, with clear standards, full transparency on what you’re buying, and dedicated support behind it, we’re creating an experience that matches how customers expect to shop for new parts — without compromise.’
Tobias Wilks, engineering lead at Ford Customer Service Division, added: ‘Every Certified used part is thoroughly graded and inspected by Ford approved processes to ensure it meets strict quality standards.
‘Every single part goes through consistent rigorous testing, which is why we are confident to say all products are Ford certified.’
All Ford Certified Used Parts come with a 12-month warranty as standard and are supported
by a dedicated customer service team.
