Leapmotor has announced pricing for its upcoming electric hatchback, the B05.
It’s now been revealed that the vehicle, which arrives in July, will be available to buy from £28,995.
The B05 comes with a 67.1kWh battery with a claimed range of 300 miles and a maximum 178kW charge rate, which means it will only take around 20 minutes to top-up from 10 to 80%.
Leapmotor is a Chinese car maker but its part-owned by European car maker Stellantis – the group that also owns Vauxhall, Citroen, Peugeot, Fiat and more.
The B05 is like other models from Leapmotor in that it is only offered in one specification level.
As standard, it features panoramic sunroof, 19-inch alloy wheels, automatic air conditioning and wireless phone charging, as well as a large central screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
It also gets 21 driver assistance features, more than any other Leapmotor model yet, and has Level 2 semi-autonomous driving capabilities.
So far, Leapmotor has three models on the market in the UK. The small electric city car T03, and two electric SUVs – the B10 and C10.
Next to arrive will be the B05 hatchback and a the B03X, with information about the latter currently limited.
