A man who defecated on the forecourt of an Audi dealership while drunk has been recalled to prison after just one day of freedom.
Kai Rossiter, 45, was arrested after the incident at Heritage Audi in Churchfields Road, Salisbury, on Monday, September 21.
The court heard that Rossiter had only been out of prison for a day when he defecated at the dealership.
He had previously been in custody for a burglary offence but found himself back in trouble with the law almost immediately after his release.
According to the Salisbury Journal, Rossiter, of Thornbury, South Gloucestershire, appeared at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, September 22.
He pleaded guilty to two offences – being drunk and disorderly in a public place and outraging public decency.
The second charge related specifically to his decision to defecate in a public place at the Audi dealership.
The court heard that Rossiter had been drunk and disorderly during the incident, which took place just 24 hours after his release from custody.
Rossiter was fined a total of £140 and recalled to prison for 56 days.
The recall relates to his previous custodial sentence rather than a new prison sentence imposed for the offences at the dealership.
