Marshall announces it will open five new Lepas showrooms

  • Marshall Motor Group has signed up to open five new Lepas dealerships in the UK
  • The agreement makes Marshall the brand’s second-largest retail partner
  • Lepas will launch with the L8 plug-in hybrid SUV in August, followed by the L6 and L4 SUVs

Marshall Motor Group has announced it will open five Lepas showrooms, as the Chinese car maker continues to grow its network in the UK.

The new showrooms will make Marshall the second biggest partner with the new brand, with Arnold Clark currently operating six Lepas locations.

Currently it is unknown where these dealerships will be but Marshall says the locations will be announced soon.

Trevor Fussey, managing director of Marshall Motor Group, commented: ‘Marshall’s commitment to innovation and sustainability continues and we are excited to welcome LEPAS to our portfolio, offering customers even more choice.

‘The LEPAS L8 plug-in hybrid SUV will be available in August, with the LEPAS L6 mid-size SUV and city-friendly LEPAS L4 SUV launching shortly thereafter.

‘Every new LEPAS model will come with a comprehensive seven-year/100,000-mile vehicle warranty as standard – a show of confidence in the cars advanced engineering and outstanding build quality.

‘We are looking forward to working with the team at LEPAS delivering its expanding model range and access to servicing, maintenance and parts support.’

Alex Rose, Regional Sales Manager for LEPAS, said: ‘LEPAS may be a new brand but we have very big plans for the UK and expect to grow rapidly.

‘We are therefore absolutely thrilled to have Marshall – one of the UK’s leading dealer groups – commit to opening five sites in key areas before we’ve even sold a single car.’
