Mazda has extended its UK dealer network with the opening of a new site on the South Coast.

Yeomans Mazda Worthing officially launched earlier this month, becoming the Japanese brand’s second franchise with the dealer group after Bexhill.

Bosses say the new facility marks a ‘significant milestone in the brand’s continued growth’ ahead of a planned model offensive over the coming months.

Commenting on the new site, Jeremy Thomson, managing director at Mazda Motors UK, said: ‘I am delighted to welcome the new Worthing site to the Mazda network at such an exciting time for the brand, with three major new vehicle launches planned over the next six months.

‘Worthing represents a key territory for Mazda and was one of our largest open points, presenting a very strong business opportunity for growth.

‘Combined with Yeomans’ proven track record of achieving top dealer status with multiple manufacturer partners, this gives me great confidence for the future with Mazda across both the Worthing and Bexhill sites.’

As well as offering new Mazda stock, the Worthing site also has space for up to 40 approved used cars, all of which come with a 12-month unlimited mileage warranty, MOT protection of up to £750 and a Mazda multi-point inspection.

Every car sold within the scheme will have at least six-months MOT and not need a service for at least six months from the point of sale.

Michael Adams, Sales Manager at Yeomans Mazda Worthing, said: ‘After a short sabbatical following 15 years with Mazda, I’m delighted to be returning to the brand at this fantastic new Yeomans site in Worthing.

‘The team’s values and customer-first mindset align perfectly with Mazda’s, which gives us great confidence in the strength of this partnership.

‘With an accessible location and a wide catchment area, the new Worthing site is well positioned to support even more customers, and we’ve already seen strong levels of interest – especially with the Mazda RX-3 drawing attention too.

‘We are excited to mark this next chapter with Mazda UK.’
