Stellantis UK has appointed Steve Wass as managing director of Peugeot UK, with boss Nicola Dobson moving into a new group-wide role as marketing operations director.
The changes form part of a wider reshuffle within Stellantis UK’s senior leadership team as the group continues to manage its multi-brand operations and push forward with its electrification plans in the UK market.
Wass steps into the Peugeot UK managing director post after holding a series of senior sales and marketing positions with the brand since the start of the century.
His experience spans more than 25 years across sales, aftersales, retail operations and marketing, which the company says gives him a broad understanding of both the dealer network and the customer-facing side of the business.
Most recently, Wass served as Peugeot UK sales director and marketing director. In his new position, he will be responsible for leading Peugeot’s UK operations at a time when the brand is continuing to expand its electrified model range and adapt to a rapidly changing UK automotive market.
Dobson, meanwhile, takes on a broader Stellantis UK brief as marketing operations director. The role will see her oversee integrated marketing operations across the group’s portfolio of brands, making campaign delivery and customer communications more consistent across all Stellantis brands.
Her move follows a period as managing director of Peugeot UK, during which the brand focused on strengthening its UK position and accelerating its transition towards electrified vehicles.
The appointment gives Stellantis UK an experienced senior marketer to help coordinate activity across its brands, the company stated.
Eurig Druce, SVP and Group Managing Director at Stellantis UK, said: ‘I am delighted to welcome Steve and Nicola into their new roles leading Peugeot UK and our group marketing operations respectively.
‘I want to thank them for their contribution so far to our achievements and wish them further successes in their new roles.’
