Suzuki adds new dealer partner as Pierremonts takes on Ramsgate franchise

  • Pierremonts officially opens its new Suzuki showroom

Suzuki has added to its list of dealer partners with the appointment of retailer Pierremonts.

The dealership has partnered with the the Japanese brand in Ramsgate, where it will serve customers from across Kent.

The site is already up and running, having opened to the public on August 17, following a significant investment.

Pierremonts, based on Canterbury Road East, previously focused on used vehicle sales alongside servicing, MOTs and mechanical repairs.

The expansion into the franchised world has seen the creation of two new jobs and the firm now employees a total of eight people.

As well as selling new cars from across the Suzuki range, Pierremonts will continue to provide servicing and aftersales support, including access to manufacturer-trained technicians and genuine Suzuki parts.

Confirming the change of direction, Pierremonts director Peter Holt said: ‘‘We are incredibly excited to be partnering with Suzuki and to officially open our new dealership to the public.

‘We wanted to offer our customers something more – cars that provide reliability, manufacturer support and warranty, while also giving them the reassurance that comes with a brand with such a strong heritage.

‘Suzuki was the natural choice. We’re looking forward to welcoming both new and existing customers through the doors.’

Suzuki GB director automobile David Kateley said Pierremonts had a strong understanding of its local customer base.

He added: ‘We are delighted to welcome Pierremonts to the Suzuki dealer network and to bring the brand to customers in Ramsgate.

‘Pierremonts has a strong understanding of its local customer base and shares our commitment to providing a high-quality, friendly and reliable experience, and we’re looking forward to supporting them as they begin this exciting new chapter.’

The launch will be supported by a number of product placements and special offers throughout September.
