Electric cars filled every spot in the top 10 fastest-selling used cars in July as dealers continued to see strong demand for second-hand EVs.
New figures from CarGurus show the Tesla Model 3 was the quickest car to leave dealer forecourts during the month, taking an average of just 20 days to sell.
The Model Y was close behind on 21.3 days, followed by the Polestar 2 on 23.1 days, MG4 on 24.7 days and Skoda Enyaq on 25.2 days.
The marketplace’s latest Monthly Sales Snapshot also shows how dramatically stock turn has improved for some electric models compared with a year ago.
The Enyaq took an average of 25.2 days to sell in July, almost half the 49.7 days recorded in the same month of 2025.
Meanwhile, the MG4 improved from 44.8 days to 24.7 days and the Audi Q4 E-Tron fell from 47.7 days to 31.
Chris Knapman, CarGurus UK editorial director, said: ‘Our findings from July have clearly underlined consumers’ increased interest in used electric cars, with all ten of our fastest sellers on the platform being EVs.
‘This has likely been helped by the significant rise in the prices of fuel, making going electric harder for many to look past, but also reflects growing consumer confidence in electric car technology.’

While EVs dominated when it came to speed of sale, familiar petrol and diesel models continued to lead the market by overall sales volume.
The Vauxhall Corsa was the best-selling used car on CarGurus in July, despite sales falling 9.2% compared with the same month last year.
The Ford Fiesta was second, with volumes down 6.8%, while the Nissan Qashqai took third place after recording a 2.4% increase.
Several of the top 10 suffered double-digit declines, with Ford Focus sales down 13.3% and Volkswagen Golf volumes falling 14.8%.
The strongest growth came from the Kia Sportage, which saw sales rise 8.3% year on year. Nissan Juke volumes increased 5%, while the Mercedes-Benz A-Class was up 4.6%.

CarGurus compiles its Monthly Sales Snapshot from marketplace data, with its fastest-selling ranking measuring the average time cars spend on dealer forecourts before being sold.
Its best-selling ranking is based on sales volumes recorded on the platform during July and includes models with at least 1,000 listings.
