Insurance provider Jensten Motor Trade (JMT) is to offer tailored advice to more than 2,000 car dealers after signing a new partnership with the Independent Motor Dealers Association (IMDA).
The firm says it will collaborate with the trade body in order to help dealers protect their businesses and operate with confidence.
Members will gain access to insurance and risk management advice, as well as JMT’s industry specific insights.
The outfit will provide a dedicated advisory team for IMDA members as part of the deal, which bosses say will offer ‘tailored insurance solutions’.
Confirming the new partnership, Mike Peacock, managing director of JMT, said: ‘Following a tender process, we were selected to work with the IMDA due to our technical understanding of the sector and exceptional customer service.
‘This opportunity will accelerate growth as we continue our journey to become the leading motor trade broker in the UK.’
Umesh Samani, chairman of the IMDA, added: ‘This partnership marks another important step in strengthening the support the IMDA provide for our members.
‘Following the tender process with Jensten Motor Trade, the IMDA felt they brought a genuine understanding of the challenges our members face.
‘Together, we are ensuring dealers have access to the specialist guidance and protection they need to trade with confidence knowing they have the right cover in place’
