Autotrade-mail’s relaunch

Time 4:24 pm, January 2, 2013

TRADE-TO-TRADE sales platform Autotrade-mail has relaunched its website.

The new site, launched just a few days ago, brings a brand new look to Autotrade-mail – drastically updating the site’s appearance for the first time since it was launched in 1999.

Keeping the firm’s trademark yellow-on-black colour scheme, the new look keeps all the existing functionality, and works in much the same way the old website did – allowing dealers to search by make, model, age and body-style.

Appearance and ease of use are vastly improved, though – bringing the popular sales platform bang up to date. Speaking to Car Dealer, Autotrade-mail’s operations director Kevin Watson said the update was just the start of the firm’s 2013 plans.

‘Although there have been various upgrades to the website in recent years this is a major update and includes dealer input from a member survey conducted last August,’ he said.

‘This significant update will facilitate the introduction of several new products and services coming to market in 2013.  Also in 2013 we expect that the number of vehicles offered will increase from thecurrent 260,000 to nearly 350,000 by the end of the year.

‘Since 1999 we have done exactly what our 5,000 members have asked of us and we will continue to do so. It is a simple formula that has made Autotrade-mail the UK’s leading online digital “real time” used car trading network.’
