Motorpoint joins Union

The Welsh Rugby Union team will carry Motorpoint’s logos after the two struck a six-figure deal.

Extending for two seasons, Motorpoint also has an option for the 2010-11 season – when Newport’s new 15,000-seater stadium in the centre of the town will open.

The deal with the Heineken Cup challengers coincided with the arrival of ex-All Black Tom Willis, fly-half James Arlidge and number 9 Grant Webb.

Motorpoint has had a presence in Newport since 2005, from where it sells 5000 cars a year. To celebrate the deal, Dragons fans can visit the supermarket on Saturday August 30th – and meet the players.

Russell Louth, general manager of Motorpoint Newport said of the deal: ‘It provides us with an excellent opportunity to raise our profile and ensure the widest number of people in the region are aware of the great offers available through Motorpoint.’
