Video: Opel introduces some guerilla marketing at a VW event…

Screen shot 2013-05-24 at 11.17.35OPEL certainly didn’t hold back in an attempt to steal the limelight from Volkswagen at the latest VW Show, 32. GTI Treffen am Worthersee.

The take-over started with the appearance of mysterious plastic sleeves containing 3D glasses, as the Opel crew casually made their way around the site and continued to hand them out.

Soon, the reason behind the 3D glasses would become apparent. Opel came in with a bang as a display of fireworks in the form of the Opel brand logo filled the sky.
