Waylands’ marketing chief Vicky Hart has been promoted to the dealer group’s board of directors as the retailer looks to continue growing in 2026.

Hart, who joined the Waylands business back in 2024, will sit on the top table after being named as the group’s new marketing director.

She assumed the title on January 1, having previously served as head of marketing and digital, where she impressed bosses by ‘driving all areas of digital and physical marketing’.

Reflecting on her appointment, Hart said: ‘Since joining the business in 2024, it has been hugely exciting to be part of a team with such drive, focus and agility.

‘The opportunity to continue to contribute at a deeper level, and to continue to build on this momentum is an absolute privilege.’

Prior to joining Waylands, Hart spent eight years as head of marketing at Hendy, having previously worked for the likes of Lifestyle Motor Group and GForces.

Back in September she also appeared on the panel at Car Dealer Podcast Live, where she gave her views on the current state of the motor trade.

Bosses say her latest promotion is a recognition of how important she has become at Waylands.

John O’Hanlon, CEO at Waylands, said: ‘I am delighted that Vicky has agreed to join the board, at such a dynamic time for our business.

‘Over the last eighteen months, Vicky has been hugely important to Waylands, driving all areas of our digital and physical marketing.

‘I look forward to working with Vicky driving the business forward and working with our leadership team to take on the challenges and exploit the opportunities over the coming months and years.’
