Arnold Clark has opened Scotland’s only dedicated Genesis showroom, bringing the luxury brand to a new purpose-built outlet in Glasgow.

The showroom, located at 345 Alexandra Parade, is now open and has been designed to offer a casual, immersive way to explore the Genesis range.

The site gives visitors the chance to view and test-drive selected models from across the Genesis range.

The opening marks a significant move for the Car Dealer Top 100 leader, which becomes the only dedicated Genesis retailer in Scotland.

The company said the showroom has been created to provide a premium customer experience, with a specialist team on hand to guide visitors through the brand’s vehicles, technology and ownership options.

Russell Borrie, chief executive officer at Arnold Clark, said the business was ‘delighted’ to bring the brand to customers across Scotland. He said the showroom had been designed to create a relaxed and welcoming environment where customers could learn more about the Genesis range and receive expert support from a dedicated team.

‘We look forward to introducing even more customers to everything Genesis has to offer,’ Borrie said.

Ben Sargeant, director of Genesis and customer strategy at Genesis Motor UK, added: ‘This milestone marks a concrete step in the roll-out of our dealer business model.

‘It lays the foundation of a robust network in the region, providing enhanced brand visibility and customer touchpoints with the Genesis brand and our exemplary range.’

For Genesis, the Glasgow site provides a physical base in Scotland at a time when customers are looking for more personal retail experiences alongside digital research and online browsing.

Arnold Clark operates 180 branches across the UK and sells more than 200,000 cars a year. The firm’s recently published accounts showed that the dealer group made an improved profit of £112.5m in 2025.
