The time has come for the Car Dealer team to take a well-deserved break.
Our teat of journalists has been bringing you the news on a daily basis, plus overseen our busiest every year for videos and events. It’s time for some days off.
We will be published right up and including Christmas Eve and then the shutters will fall for the seasonal break.
The team will back on January 5, and ready to get another year in the motor trade underway.
Of course, our website will be updated over between Christmas and New Year, but it’s only the daily news coverage that will be on hold unless any breaking news occurs.

Set to be held at the British Motor Museum, Gaydon, on March 19, the event – sponsored by Auto Trader – the event will give attendees a fascinating day of business insight and advice.
There will be research sessions from headline partner Auto Trader, as well as Impel, Cox Automotive, Keyloop and Motorway.
Attendees will also be able to listen (and take part) in panel sessions with franchised and independent dealers, car manufacturers, as well as a chat with four bosses of Chinese challenger brands.
Tickets to the event are on sale now with early bird discounts until the end of 2025.
