Running a website for a franchised dealer isn’t easy and a good provider can be worth its weight in gold for retailers.
Finding a firm that is able to meet manufacturer standards, integrate with multiple systems and deliver a smooth customer journey from first click to final enquiry can be tricky but the right choice has the potential to transform a business.
Our two highly commended firms – Spidersnet and Haswent – both achieved just that but in the end there could only be one winner and it was Keyloop which took the title once again.
Keyloop has won this category numerous times before, with dealers praising the firm’s innovation, and customer-first approach.
The award being voted for by retailers is something that the firm is particularly proud of, as chief strategy officer Tim Smith explains.
‘It’s great – we love winning, obviously!’ he said. ‘The best thing about the award — I always say this year after year after year — is that it’s our customers who vote for us, so we must be doing something right.
‘We know it’s a great product. We’re very, very proud of its genesis over more than a decade.
‘It’s still the most widely used e-commerce platform for franchise car dealers. So we’re very, very proud — proud of the team and proud to be part of it.’
Going forward, the firm is refusing to rest on its laurels and has vowed to continue offering dealers the very best service it can.
This includes developing even more technology, including more AI products, to make dealers’ lives as simple as possible.
That follows the recent launch of the firm’s ‘Acquisition Hub’ – an end-to-end dealership e-commerce platform which unifies the digital car-buying journey into one system.
The platform integrates website functionality, valuations, finance applications, and online payments, making it a perfect one-stop-shop for car dealers.
Speaking about the service, Smith said: ‘It makes it worthwhile because it never stands still. It’s continually evolving.
‘We’ve got very exciting plans for the next iteration, including the integration of AI across everything.
‘Of course it’s going to have AI in there, but in a controlled manner, always with that simple focus on results, conversion rates and connecting dealers with qualified customers when and where necessary.’
He added: ‘There’s going to be a considerable amount of work around improving the look, feel and presentation of inventory.
‘There’ll also be more partnerships announced that will have deep integrations into Acquisition Hub and beyond.
‘We’re making the platform easier to use, faster to use and giving customers a greater level of flexibility, with more ability to query data at a lower level.
‘We’re very excited. We’re not standing still, we never rest on our laurels. We understand this technology has to improve constantly.
‘There’s a lot coming.’
