Jaguar’s new director

KEN Forbes to the position of marketing director, Jaguar Cars UK, it has been announced.

The newly-created position is effective from June 11 2012, and Forbes will assume responsibility for all marketing communication and product matters for Jaguar in the UK.

Commenting on his appointment, Forbes said: ‘I’m really looking forward to joining the Jaguar brand. It’s a tremendous opportunity to be part of a vibrant team and a company with a very exciting future ahead of it.’


Jeremy Hicks, managing director of Jaguar Land Rover UK, said: ‘Ken is a fantastic addition to the team – his background both in automotive management and in publishing will be a great benefit to Jaguar Cars in the UK.

‘We have an exciting year ahead as the XF Sportbrake and the F-TYPE come to market – Ken will play a vital role in these plans.’

Forbes previously worked for Ford, Citroen and Emap automotive.  He joins Jaguar Land Rover from his own consultancy business where his clients included Porsche and Nationwide.
