PARK’s Motor Group has reopened its Glasgow dealership after investing a hefty £3.2m into its development.
The year-long project was officially opened last night by BMW UK’s MD, Tim Abbott, and has seen the Kyle Street based Douglas Park Mini and BMW site double in size, with an extra 5,000 square meters of floor space.
This investment follows the £3.5m the group also splashed-out on an aftersales centre in 2012 and has seen an additional 12 members of staff taken on by the company.
The firm can now display more vehicles on site, has improved consultation rooms and customers are able to interact with new visual displays, allowing them to build their own vehicles to a range of specifications and colours.
‘The Glasgow dealership is now ‘a much more retail-focused environment,’ dealer principal, Cameron Wade, told his local newspaper.
