CLOSE Brothers Motor Finance recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of its Sheffield branch.
The motor finance firm, headquartered in Doncaster, opened the branch in 1992, and, since then, it has been one of the largest employers in Yorkshire region.
Despite tough economic conditions over the years, the firm has continued its success in the area, working with more than 2,076 dealers and helping to finance 65,000 cars worth nearly £440m.
Following the success of its Sheffield and Doncaster offices, Close Brothers Motor Finance expanded the business, bringing the total number of offices to 13 across the UK.
With the business having a strong Yorkshire heritage, it has many local, longstanding dealers whom they support with a specialist and bespoke offering. James Holland, owner of the Car and Bike Specialist in Edmund Road, Sheffield, has been a client of Close Brothers Motor Finance since 2006.
Holland said: ‘Close Brothers Motor Finance has a strong reputation in the Yorkshire region, and for good reason – the support they have offered has been hugely beneficial to my business.
‘Over the years, the service I have been given from my local account manager and the regular contact of a familiar voice who understands my business inside-out has been key to our business success. Not only has the partnership been a profitable one, but has also proved fruitful in terms of trust and loyalty.’
