PeugeotDEALER Simon Bailes has donated a Peugeot 208 as a prize for a local charity event.

The specialist Peugeot dealership, which has three franchised showrooms in the North East, has donated the 208 to Herriot Hospice Homecare.

On September 11, the nursing home will host a charity golf day at Romanby Golf and Country Club near Northallerton.

As reported by The Northern Echo, whoever can achieve a hole-in-one at the charity game will be rewarded with a set of keys to the brand new Peugeot 208.

Neil Bielby of Simon Bailes, told the newspaper: ‘It’s really encouraging to see so many local businesses supporting this very important local charity.

‘Times may be tough but we must not forget the organisations that need our support and, as a company, we do try to do what we can’

He added: ‘We were really pleased to be able to help out and provide the 208 for the hole-in-one winner and I’m looking forward to see who achieves it.’
