Monday, November 5

USED prices have risen 2 per cent, according to AutoTrader.

PORSCHE owners in The Netherlands are waking up to find their cars headlamp-less, after criminals began to steal the HID bulbs for use on cannabis farms.

 

 

 

Tuesday, November 6

NEW car registrations were up 12.1 per cent in October, according to the SMMT.

MCLAREN’S legendary F1 has become the most expensive modern car ever sold – at £3.5 million.


INFINITI have opened a new centre in East Yorkshire – just around the corner from the famous Humber bridge in Hull.

KIA performed particularly well in October – with a 12.4 per cent rise in sales compared to last year.

 

Wednesday, November 7

HARRATTS have announced plans to expand – moving their Kia and Mitsubishi dealers to bigger premises.

THE current ‘renaissance’ in the UK car industry is likely to continue for at least another five years, estimate PricewaterhouseCoopers.

LAND ROVER has as many as 16 new models planned for the future, Autocar has discovered.

USED car values have risen in October, according to BCA – up 2.6 per cent since September.

GEORGE OSBOURNE found himself in hot water over a loan he approved to a Turkish Ford factory – the very same that will take over from the closing Southampton plant.

THE SMMT has stood up for car dealers – shunning a Halfords Autocentre ad that claimed to halve dealer service pricing.

LUXURY manufacturer Eterniti Motors has opened its first dealership to crowds and VIPs.


UNDER 25s have selected ‘colour’ as the most important thing to them when choosing a new car.

ED BALLS has shunned the 3p increase in fuel duty this January – saying that it simply ‘cannot be right’.
