FAMILY-RUN dealer group Yeomans has strengthened its presence on the south coast after buying its fourth Nissan dealership.
The company has taken over WKB Nissan in Elettra Avenue, Waterlooville, to join its three other Nissan outlets in Worthing, Eastbourne and Bognor Regis. All 35 members of staff at the Waterlooville business have kept their jobs.
Now known as Yeomans Nissan Portsmouth, the 12-car showroom can also display more than 60 pre-owned vehicles on its outside forecourt, and there is a five-bay workshop with the latest diagnostic equipment.
The new man at the helm is dealer principal Terry Hancock, pictured at top, who spent more than 12 years in the same role with the West Way Group, having overseen the Aldershot, Basingstoke and Southampton showrooms.
Hancock, who has 30 years’ experience in the motor industry, said he was confident the dealership could move forward under the Yeomans name and become a leading Nissan dealer.
‘I am delighted to be joining Yeomans at what is such an exciting time for the business, and am determined to help deliver the company’s core values on providing an excellent customer experience,’ he said.
‘I really believe in the Nissan brand and I’ve got a really knowledgeable and enthusiastic team who will do everything they can for Nissan customers in the area. They want to make both the sales and aftersales experience the very best it can be.’
Yeomans operates 18 dealerships representing six brands across Devon, East and West Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire.
