Ron Brooks has announced the opening of a new flagship Chery store as the dealer group looks to strengthen its ties with the Chinese firm.
The car dealer is to open the state-of-the-art facility in Chilwell, Nottingham, with both sales and aftersales facilities to be made available.
The firm already represents the Chery-owned Omoda and Jaecoo at sites across the East Midlands, but the Nottingham showroom will be its first with the Chery brand.
Bosses say the deal ‘reflects the group’s confidence in the brand’s long-term potential’ and pledged to bring ‘innovative, technology-led vehicles to customers across the East Midlands’.
Tom Slack, group chief commercial officer at Ron Brooks, said: ‘We are absolutely delighted to be adding Chery to the Ron Brooks portfolio and to further strengthen our relationship with the wider Chery Automotive family.
‘Chery Nottingham is our 14th business and sees us continue to be recognised as one of the fastest growing retailers in automotive.
‘Having already seen the positive impact that our three Omoda and three Jaecoo businesses have had, we’re excited to welcome Chery and introduce the brand to customers across Nottingham and the surrounding area.’
The Nottingham site is a new acquisition for Ron Brooks and is now underway on a refurbishment.
Further details, including an opening date, are expected to be announced over the coming weeks and months.
