RENAULT dealers can expect interest in the new Laguna Coupe – from product placement at Westfield.
The French brand has presented the new Laguna Coupe in a special display at the giant West London shopping centre.
Taking full advantage of record-breaking footfall generated by retailers’ New Year sale price bargains, Renault estimates up to 60,000 people a day will have seen the new Coupe.
The model is housed in a special clear box, and will be displayed until 24th January.
This has been timed to coincide with the launch of the new Laguna variant on 2 January. Dealers have already been promoting their own launch events for the new Coupe, which goes on sale from £20,552.
Renault says the new four-seater motor has the BMW 3 Series Coupe in its sights. That car is the sector leader: Renault will be challenging it with bargain pricing, Aston Martin-like styling and a clever four-wheel-steer chassis.
But visitors to Europe’s largest shopping centre have already enjoyed a preview of the new car, to momentarily draw them away from one of the mammoth 43-acre site’s 280 shops…
