screen-shot-2011-11-18-at-161833LODERS’ managing director has told Car Dealer they are looking for a buyer after entering financial difficulties.

Car Dealer has learnt today the Loders group was facing administration, and is in talks with another motor group who operate Volkswagen and Audi franchises across Wiltshire, Somerset and Bristol about a possible buy-out.

‘We are currently in delicate negotiations with Heritage Automotive’, Brian Keen Loders’ managing director exclusively told us.

A Volkswagen spokesperson added: ‘We can confirm that Loders has gone into administration and we are working hard with the team there to ensure minimal disruption is caused to the company’s customers.’

Loders motor group, who has been established for more than 60 years in Dorset and Somerset and held Volkswagen and Skoda franchises, sold their Yeovil Audi business to Ocean Automotive earlier this month.

Car Dealer is currently trying to contact Heritage Automotive but so far has had little success. We will update you as soon as we know more.
