Time 8:15 am, January 31, 2014

ssangyongSSANGYONG Motor UK, the importer of Korean SsangYong cars, has added a further five outlets to its network of franchised dealers.

The new additions bring to 19 the number of new dealers appointed in the last year.

The new appointments are:

  • Grovebury Cars, Tring, Hertfordshire.
  • C S G Pollitt, Exeter, Devon.
  • Racecourse Garage, Chepstow, Monmouthshire.
  • Roseisle, Musselburgh, Edinburgh.
  • T.I.M. UK Motors, Ilkeston, Derbyshire.

Paul Williams, CEO of SsangYong Motor UK, said: ‘We warmly welcome these five new partners to the SsangYong franchise, and the first of several Chevrolet dealers taking on the brand.’

Ssangyong has undergone a complete refresh of its model range in less than four months, and Williams said: ‘The SsangYong value proposition is increasingly being recognised by the motor industry and media alike, and now every car in our range has been refreshed for 2014: face-lifted Korando, new Rexton W, improved Korando Sports pick-up and the recently launched Turismo, the most competitively priced MPV on the market.

‘Never before have we had such a complete range – a line-up of SUV and 4×4 vehicles that no other value-brand comes anywhere close to offering their dealer network and customers.

Williams added: ‘We are actively looking for the right quality of dealers to represent us in a number of locations.

‘Open points include Aberdeen, Cambridge, Chester, Greater Manchester, Inverness, Leicester, Liverpool, London & South East, Mid & North Wales, Newcastle, North London, Reading, Sheffield and Teesside.’
