Arsenal’s French signing

280708cit.jpgCITROEN is to be Arsenal’s official car supplier for the coming season.

The three-year deal will see the Gunners take delivery of a range of vehicles from the company.

Models will include the C1, C4, C4 Picasso, C5 and Berlingo Multispace. We also wouldn’t be surprised to see Arsene and the boys chauffeured around in the odd C6, either.

Mind you, Citroen will also be supplying LCVs, including the Berlingo, Dispatch and Relay – which, it says, ‘will be used to transport players and training equipment around the country and support the Club’s established Community programme.’

Adebayor in the back of a Dispatch? That really would be something…

Encouragingly, Arsenal and Citroen plan to fully integrate the partnership into marketing, dealer and promotional materials. Not only will there be ample branding at the Emirates, but dealers will also be able to inject some Arsenal flair into their showrooms, too.

Ken Friar, director at Arsenal Football Club, said: ‘We’re delighted to be involved with Citroen for the start of the new season. The company has an innovative range of cars and LCVs, which will provide our staff and coaches with safe, secure and, most importantly, environmentally conscious options.’
