FAMILY-OWNED Bowker Motor Group has been appointed by Maserati to open the brands first Lancashire dealership.
Bowker Maserati will begin trading in June 2013 from the group’s existing premises near Blackburn.
The dealership will be the sole Maserati distributor in the North West and Cumbria, with a full aftersales facility and space for three Maserati models to be displayed.
Three new jobs will be generated for the Bowker Motor Group, which already has a portfolio of nine brands and dealerships in Blackburn and Preston.
Paul Bowker, Bowker Motor Group chief executive, said: “It is a huge privilege to be chosen by Maserati to represent them in the North West and Cumbria. We have already established award-winning motor retail experiences in Preston and Blackburn with some of the world’s most prestigious motoring brands.

A spokesman for Maserati North Europe said they are ‘delighted’ to be working with the Bowker Motor Group.
