MG MOTOR UK and Richmond Motor Group, a leading MG franchise partner, have reinforced their relationship by jointly sponsoring a well-known bridge in Hampshire.
Strategically located near Richmond’s new MG dealership in Southampton, banners on Itchen Bridge, the busiest river crossing in the county, now carry MG branding.
Michael Nobes, founder and managing director of Richmond Motor Group, said: ‘Our sponsorship of the Itchen Bridge was a huge part of our dealership’s launch plan. We don’t usually carry out such large-scale sponsorships but, just like our new partnership with MG, it was an investment that was easy to justify.
‘We are already off to a fantastic start with our partnership and extremely excited about the upcoming ZS EV, which we see as an excellent choice for individual buyers and business fleets alike.’
Daniel Gregorious, head of sales and marketing at MG Motor UK, said: ‘We’re very proud to be working in partnership with Richmond Motor Group, and it’s great to see such an impactful piece of MG branding right in the heart of Southampton.’
Despite only opening its doors in November 2018, the Southampton branch is already one of the largest MG dealerships in the country.
Richmond’s multi-brand site, including MG, stretches over six-and-a-half acres.
