worling at laptopSIGN up to our new forum and chat about the motoring topics that are affecting you.

Car Dealer is making it easier than ever before to chat about the industry we all love – the motor trade.

We’ve created the Car Dealer Forum, which will allow us to chat to you in an informal environment and allow you to share your news, views and opinions with us and your colleagues.

It’s very easy to sign up – tap into a web browser – or simply click here – and click ‘Sign up’ in the top right- hand corner.

Enter your name and email address and come up with a jazzy username that you’d like to be known by on the site. If you wish you can give yourself a unique ‘avatar’ – a little picture that goes alongside all of your posts – and you can enter your Twitter, Facebook and other social media details to help find you new followers and friends.

Creating a new post couldn’t be easier either – just follow the simple instructions. But the best feature about the new forum is how it integrates with our website. When you’re reading a news story on our site you’ll now notice a ‘Comment on this story’ box at the bottom of the page. Click it and it’ll create a new post on our forum, allowing you and others to comment and chat about the post.

Found a topic you want to track the progress of? Hit ‘Follow this topic’ to receive a notification when someone posts in that thread. You can post topics and replies either directly into the forums, or by using the handy link at the bottom of any of the news stories on our website.

And like the best forums on the internet, the Car Dealer Forum is completely open. It means you can share your opinions and thoughts on issues within the motor industry, or simply have a natter about any subject you fancy! But if you have some serious subjects on your mind, you can voice them in this like-minded environment too.

So who will be using the forum? Well, it’ll be people in the motor trade – from independent dealers to dealer groups, suppliers and manufacturers, there will be a great variety of opinion on issues important to the industry.

We want as much involvement from our readers as possible and encourage free thought. Click here to log on now and get involved.
