Car Dealer Power awards ‘build and strengthen trust’ between supplier and customer

Time 1 year ago

Scooping a Car Dealer Power award ‘builds and strengthens trust’ between supplier and customer, one multi-awarding winning company has said.

The annual Car Dealer Power survey – which recognises and celebrates the best suppliers in the business – only opened a week ago, but so far more than 250 dealers have it filled out.

Car Dealer Power allows dealers to rate the outstanding firms they love doing business with – and the ones they don’t.

Paint protection firm GardX has won the Paint Protection Provider category five years in a row, and knows the value of winning a Power award.

The company’s managing director, Victor Coutin, told Car Dealer Magazine: ‘We are really pleased to have been chosen as the Paint Provider of the Year for five years in a row in such a competitive market.

‘An award such as the Power award is not only testament to the quality of our amazing products, but also our team who offer support and account management to our dealers.’

Coutin said GardX uses the Power awards logo – which is available to all winners after the awards ceremony – on all of its point-of-sale material, including email signatures, promotional videos and its website.

He added that the Power award in is a powerful promotional tool.

‘The Power award recognition has been an incredibly strong marketing tool as it encourages our current customers to stay loyal to us and new customers to choose us and our products,’ he said.

‘Being able to say that we are an award-winning business increases our chances of building and strengthening trust and partnerships with dealers.’

Voting opened on July 1 and closes at the end of August. The shortlist of contenders will be revealed on September 7.

Car Dealer Magazine will then reveal the winners in a special video awards presentation on September 30, and the gongs will be delivered to the winners.

For the first time in the survey’s history, Car Dealer Power will be held digitally in 2020.

Award winners and highly commended firms will have the opportunity to highlight their special achievements in a dedicated Car Dealer Power section on this popular website, instead of attending the awards presentation like previous years.

Access to the winners logos, a special winners video and promotional story featured in the Car Dealer Power Awards section will all be offered to the successful firms. Full details will be released to the shortlisted businesses nearer the time.
