Screen shot 2014-05-22 at 09.36.27CAR dealers – in common with many other professionals who regularly meet members of the public – are well used to dealing with the odd tricky customer.

Thankfully, however, incidents of physical violence are rare. So spare a thought for a car dealer in Miami who was violently attacked while simply trying to do his job.

Video footage has just been released of the incident which took place in January, when two customers became involved in a dispute with dealership owner Ruben Mirelman over a car that one of the pair had bought a few months previously.

The film shows Mirelman being brutally punched before a member of his staff is also attacked and kicked after trying to intervene. Both suspects left the dealership shortly after the incident.

One of the pair has been apprehended with the search continuing for the second culprit.

Local TV news reporter Jason Martinez says the attack has left the victim ‘fearing for his life these days.’
