DEALER group Endeavour Automotive Limited has purchased the flagship Hyundai London site from Hyundai Motor UK.

The current Hyundai London site, which is situated on Edgware Road in Hendon, will now be known as Hyundai North London and will continue to service new and existing customers in the area to the same high standards.

John Caney, managing director of Endeavour Automotive Limited, said: ‘This is a very exciting time to be joining the Hyundai brand when it is enjoying record market share and has continued aspirations for future success.

‘The Hyundai London business represents a key area for Endeavour Automotive Limited, which has an aligned strategy for growth and increased market area representation.

‘I look forward to welcoming the team from Hyundai London to Endeavour Automotive Limited and to building on the success already achieved by them. We are a young and vibrant company which is passionate and determined to challenge old ways of doing things whilst exceeding customers’ expectations – a philosophy that will extend to our new venture with Hyundai in North London.’

Tony Whitehorn, president and CEO, Hyundai Motor UK, said: ‘Our future growth strategy requires continued focussed effort on our core business activities, hence the decision to sell our wholly owned outlet.

‘Along with the site, all the existing roles within the business will also be transferred to Endeavour Automotive Limited in its current structure. We are delighted that Endeavour Automotive Limited has joined our network of dealers as they look to expand their own operation in partnership with the Hyundai brand in future.’

The dealership has the capacity to showcase the whole Hyundai range and showroom is complemented by an experienced unit selling pre-owned vehicles. All new and existing Hyundai aftersales customers can bring their car in to the service department for annual servicing and maintenance.
