MITSUBISHI has announced it will be revealing its all new Outlander crossover at the Geneva Motor Show.
The car is completely brand-new and is the third embodiment of the crossover theme the Japanese manufacturer ‘coined 11 years ago’ – a press release said.
Mitsubishi’s all-new mid-size crossover is ‘meant to better comply with the times – a strategic and innovative premium vehicle of substance developed around a versatile global platform’.
A simply designed body is the car’s hallmark, and the the simple, uncluttered theme continues on the inside with the addition of better quality materials.
Two engines will be available for launch in Europe – a 2.0-litre petrol and a 2.5-litre diesel. The car will be launched in Europe later this year.
Mitsubishi has also hinted at another variant too. From 2013, the firm will investigate putting a plug-in hybrid powertrain into the new Outlander.
