INCHCAPE UK’s Toyota retail centre in Nottingham has donated £1,550 to help refurbish a gymnastics club.
Robin Hood Gymnastics Club in Sherwood provides a wide range of classes and activities for all ages and abilities, including recreational gymnastics sessions, pre-school play sessions, holiday clubs, fitness classes and elite gymnastics. It also supports Sport England’s ‘This Girl Can’ campaign, which encourages and inspires young women into sport and exercise.
The donation, which will enable the club to fully cater for an array of activities. was presented as part of the Toyota Fund For A Better Tomorrow – a nationwide programme of grants that Toyota retail centres can bid for to support charities, schools and community projects in their area.
Robert Bean, general manager at Inchcape Toyota Nottingham, said: ‘I was absolutely delighted to be able to present the cheque to the gym on behalf of all the team at Inchcape Toyota Nottingham. We are proud to have joined together with others in the local community to help support the future of this great club.
‘The Toyota Fund For A Better Tomorrow is a fantastic initiative which helps us to support causes within our local communities, and the donation was extremely gratefully received by Robin Hood Gymnastics Club.’
