Mazda’s info app

Time 8:59 am, July 18, 2012

MAZDA has launched a new app which allows owners to have all the information about their vehicle on their smartphone.

Called MyMazda, the app helps drivers keep a check of their vehicle’s maintenance, review its service history and even request roadside assistance.

The app is available to customers free of charge, is linked to Mazda’s Digital Service Records, and allows Mazda owners to review their service history, automatically receive service reminders, request roadside assistance, check and edit their personal and vehicle details, as well as find their nearest Mazda dealership.

‘The new app is another opportunity for us to demonstrate our excellent customer service. It is easy to register and simple to use, providing key facts about the owner’s vehicle at the touch of a button,’ said David Wilson-Green, aftersales director, Mazda Motors UK.

A customer’s car’s full service history will appear on MyMazda which will also take into account the user’s driving patterns and remind them when to book their next scheduled service.

‘If a Mazda owner is away from home and wants to visit another Mazda dealership, the app will direct them to the nearest location. In an emergency it will even allow them to request roadside assistance.’
