Peter Vardy in Aberdeen

Time 9:18 am, December 3, 2012

JAGUAR, Land Rover and Porsche Aberdeen have been taken over by Peter Vardy.

The Jaguar dealer – previously owned by Stratstone (Pendragon PLC) – changed hands yesterday, joining Peter Vardy’s other Scottish dealers including Mini and BMW.

Meanwhile, the town’s Porsche and Land Rover dealers have also been taken over by the firm – taking the showrooms off the hands of Town and County.

Speaking of the acquisitions, a release by Peter Vardy said: ‘The experienced team at Peter Vardy Jaguar are looking forward to welcoming both new and existing customers to the dealership over the coming weeks.’

‘All our existing colleagues believe that the new dealerships will perfectly complement the existing group, and will help take the group that further step towards meeting the PVL vision to create a world class company as measured by its colleagues, customers and communities that prides itself on wanting to be the best dealer group not the biggest.

‘We will take control of the Land Rover and Porsche dealerships on the 1st December 2012. Everyone is looking forward to welcoming both new and existing customers in the coming weeks and months.’
