PEUGEOT UK’s managing director Jon Goodman is to take up a new job as the PSA Group’s media director.
Next month, Goodman will move to Paris to take on the worldwide role of director of media relations for PSA Peugeot Citroen.
Goodman, 47, who has been managing director of Peugeot UK since June 2009, returns to mainland Europe where he has held various positions in previous years. He was also director of communications for the PSA Group in the UK from 2005 to 2007.
Goodman said: ‘While I am disappointed to be leaving the UK, this is a fantastic opportunity for me as the PSA Peugeot Citroen Group grows in International stature. I have enjoyed my time at Peugeot Motor Company and have been pleased to see market share grow and the UK dealer network consolidate and move forward.’Goodman’s successor will be announced at a later date.
