It’s always a much debated subject but this week Forum members discussed the benefits of using Twitter or Facebook to communicate to customers. Ben-CriteriaCars started the thread and posed the question of which social media platform is better to speak to customers with.

How is October for you?
As we near the end of October, how the month performed for dealers is in the limelight. CAP’s Philip Nothard asked: ‘How would you best describe October in terms of used vehicle volume, quality, supply and retail demand? How are you viewing the remaining months for 2013 and quarter four? How has the September result impacted on your outlook for the remainder of 2013?’

And finally, James Baggott’s column (published online today) caused a stir with some users. One user asked why there is so much negativity towards the brand while Forum user Stuart said ‘people will never forgive Vauxhall for bringing Griff Rhys Jones into their living room wearing nothing but a pair of Y-Fronts.’
