abridge-lewis-evinsVOLKSWAGEN dealer Arbridge Harlow has appointed a new business manager with a difference.

However, it is no ordinary appointment. The Harlow-based dealership has selected a former fitness instructor to head up its business sales division.

Lewis Evins, 31, has turned his energy into the automotive sector having worked in the leisure industry for over 14 years.

Evins initially trained as a lifeguard and then specialised as a swimming and trampoline coach, and then a fitness instructor. He later switched to managerial and sales roles before joining Arbridge’s Loughton site.

After two years as a sales executive, Evins quickly progressed to a senior management role at Arbridge Harlow.

He said: ‘This is a exciting challenge and although it’s a different industry the wants and needs of any customer are very much the same.

‘I have always enjoyed customer interaction and I am looking forward to enhancing Abridge’s service and help to drive the business forward.’

Ashley Humphreys, brand manager at Abridge Harlow, said: ‘Lewis’ enthusiasm  and expertise makes him the ideal person to strengthen the business and develop our customers’ needs.’
