T.C. Harrison has officially joined the KGM dealer network at its Stamford site after ending new car sales for Ford at the location.
The family-run dealer has been a Ford franchise holder since 1936 but decided to switch brands at Stamford as the American manufacturer continues to reduce its UK retail network.
The site on Wharf Road will now sell KGM’s full range of cars and pick-ups, while continuing to operate as a Ford authorised repairer.
The change was first announced in December, as reported by Car Dealer, with new KGM signage now installed at the dealership.
T.C. Harrison is one of the UK’s longest-established family-run dealer groups, having been founded by Thomas ‘Cuth’ Harrison in 1931.
The group ranked 16th in the 2025 Car Dealer Top 100 and reported a pre-tax profit of £4.85m for the year ending December 31, 2024.
Its wider network includes car and van sites in Burton, Derby, Peterborough, Huntingdon, Spalding and St Neots, alongside Stamford.
Simon Oakley, regional head of sales southern at T.C. Harrison, said the business was looking forward to working with KGM.

KGM Motors UK managing director Kevin Griffin said T.C. Harrison’s family ownership and reputation made it a strong fit for the brand.

The Stamford showroom will offer KGM’s Rexton seven-seater, Musso pick-up, Korando and Tivoli, alongside the newer Torres Hybrid and Actyon Hybrid.
The range also includes the fully electric Musso EV and Torres EVX.
Customers will also have access to servicing, MOTs, accident repair support and genuine parts and accessories through the dealership.
The move gives KGM another established dealer group in its UK network, while giving T.C. Harrison a new franchise at a site where Ford retail sales have now ended.
