Dealer group Vertu has opened the doors to a flagship Skoda site in Nottingham after a major eight-week refurbishment.
The retailer has poured significant resources into transforming the site, with work including a full internal strip-out and refit of the showroom and workshop.
Investment has also gone into significant mechanical and electrical upgrades as well as facade improvements and a reconfiguration of the car park.
The upgraded site is now a state-of-the-art facility having been given upgraded floor finishes, ceilings, partitions, lighting, HVAC systems, and EV charge points.
Vertu, which came fifth in last week’s Car Dealer Top 100, has now appointed James Orridge [pictured] to oversee the dealership as general manager.
He said: ‘We have created a space that reflects the quality and innovation of the Skoda brand. The transformation will help deliver a fantastic experience for our customers, and create an environment where our team can flourish.
‘It has been exciting to see the dealership evolve so quickly. The attention to detail throughout the refurbishment has been exceptional.
‘The energy here is fantastic. We’ve got a fresh team, a fresh brand, and a site that’s been completely reimagined. It’s a great platform to build on.’
Robert Forrester, Chief Executive of Vertu, added: ‘This investment underlines our commitment to the Skoda brand and to our customers in Nottingham.
‘The team has delivered a high-quality result on time, and the dealership is now well-positioned to serve the local market with a strong offering.’
