Car dealers now less than 24 hours to ensure they are in with a shot of glory at the 2026 Used Car Awards, with nominations shutting TODAY.
Retailers have until 5pm today to fill in a nominations form and throw their hat in the ring for one of our prestigious gongs.
Hundreds of individuals and businesses from across the motor trade have so far put themselves forward but time is running out if you want to join them.
Dubbed the ‘Oscars of the motor trade’, the Used Car Awards celebrates the very best the trade has to offer, from sellers of multi-million-pound supercars to sub-£5k runarounds.
This year’s event, sponsored by Black Horse, will be hosted once again by Wheeler Dealers TV presenter Mike Brewer at the Brewery in London.
Encouraging dealers to put themselves forward, James Baggott, editor-in-chief of Car Dealer Magazine, said: ‘There’s still time to get your nominations in, but the clock is ticking.
‘The Used Car Awards are all about recognising the people, businesses and individuals who are making a real difference across the industry, and we want to make sure those deserving of recognition get their moment in the spotlight.
‘If there’s a dealer, colleague, business or individual you think deserves an award, don’t leave it until it’s too late. Nominations close at 5pm today, so get yours in now and make sure your voice is heard.’
You can nominate yourself or someone else you think would be deserving of an award, and then the Car Dealer team gets to work assessing these people and businesses to whittle down to the shortlist of potential winners.

- Nominations close: Monday, September 28
- Nominations (long list) revealed: Monday, October 5
- Shortlist revealed: Monday, October 19
- Awards night: Monday, November 30
To be in with a chance of a trophy, our nominations form needs to be completed and the process couldn’t be any more straightforward!
All you need to do is select the category that you’d like to nominate yourself or someone else for on the form and supply the requested details.
From there, all entries will be judged by our Car Dealer experts, who will whittle them down to a nominations list.
