DEALERS can now advertise their used car stock online for free!
Justgoodcars.com is offering the deal to used car sellers, and promises no catches whatsoever.
It simply, says the site, gives access to a unique network of 1250 make and model-specific websites.
Colin Mathieson, commercial director at justgoodcars.com, said: ‘In times of recession, often the first cutback to be made is advertising, which is a hugely difficult decision for anyone trying to sell a car. How else do you let potential buyers out there know about what you have available?’
Well, he says, by using his solution. ‘Our offer of free advertising is completely genuine – we may not have the biggest audience in the market, just shy of 250,000 in the UK in October, but that audience is growing, and certainly has a value.
‘If we bring an advertiser and a buyer together, then we will have achieved our goal – in time, our name and standing in the market will grow, and we’ll build revenues through display advertising, affiliations and sales of enhanced packages to motor dealers.
‘In the current climate, anyone demanding high fees for online advertising is going to be very disappointed.’
Mathieson reckons that so compelling is his proposition, small dealers, medium traders and even some manufacturers may begin to review their used car advertising spend.
‘There are many different websites to advertise on and use for research. Users have incredible choice at their fingertips – buyers don’t just look at one website, and sellers should not just put their money into one place.’
Go to his site, of course, and you won’t be outlaying any money at all…
