Arnold Clark announces closure of Inverness dealership this month

  • Arnold Clark announces it will be closing one of its dealerships on June 30
  • It said the decision had ‘not been taken lightly’ to close the Renault and Dacia site
  • All employees have been offered other roles in alternative local branches

Car dealer Arnold Clark has announced it is closing its Renault and Dacia dealership in Inverness this month. 

The site on Harbour Road will close from June 30 but the business has said it will offer new roles with other local branches to all employees.

CEO of Arnold Russell Borrie told the Inverness Courier: ‘Following careful consideration, we have taken the decision to close our Inverness Renault site.

‘This was not a decision taken lightly, and our priority is to support our employees throughout this transition.

‘We are pleased to confirm that all colleagues will be offered roles within our local branch network.’

Arnold Clark currently has 17 Renault and 16 Dacia dealerships, including Inverness.

He added: We remain committed to providing excellent service to our customers in the Inverness area and are working to ensure continuity, with a smooth transition of services to other local Arnold Clark branches.’
