Automotive charity Ben has strengthened its senior leadership team with the appointment of two new directors.
Luke Genevrier-Mallett has joined as director of fundraising and engagement, while Chris Easton has been appointed director of charitable impact.
Genevrier-Mallett will take responsibility for Ben’s fundraising, marketing, brand and engagement activities, with a focus on raising awareness of the charity, generating additional income and supporting its long-term sustainability.
He joins Ben with more than 20 years’ experience in the charity sector, having previously held senior roles at Save the Children, the British Heart Foundation and Young Lives vs Cancer. He has also served as chief executive of a regional health charity and most recently worked as an international consultant.
Easton will oversee Ben’s support and specialist services, providing strategic leadership across the charity’s health and wellbeing offering for current and former automotive workers and their families.
He previously worked as head of person-centred care at NHS England before moving into senior strategy and transformation roles, most recently serving as director of strategy and impact at NHS Charities Together.

Ben chief executive Rachel Clift said the appointments come at an important stage in the charity’s development.
She said: ‘I’m delighted to welcome Luke and Chris to Ben’s senior leadership team at such a critical stage in our evolution.
‘They both bring exceptional experience, inspiring leadership and a shared commitment to improving the lives of people in our automotive family.’
Genevrier-Mallett said Ben supports around four million people who work, or have worked, in the automotive sector and their families, adding that his focus would be on bringing fundraising, marketing and engagement closer together to help the charity reach more people.
Easton added that he was looking forward to building on Ben’s existing work while helping the charity continue to develop its services for people across the automotive industry.
