100% for Aston Barclay

ASTON BARCLAY’S auction house in Leeds managed an impressive 100 per cent conversion rate during a fleet sales event.

Every one of the vehicles – provided by Alphabet UK, Leasedrive and Zenith – went under the hammer in the auction, an achievement which surprised even the general manager, Lisa Grimsley.

‘I’ve been in the business for more than 20 years and have never witnessed a 100 per cent conversion in an open fleet sale where the catalogue features a variety of car marques,’ she said.

‘While we have been steadily progressing with Leeds, the success of Friday’s fleet sale not only firmly establishes the centre but also confirms that our on-going strategy of bringing new buyers to our sales alongside our regular customers is paying off.’

The auction also generated a result of over 104 per cent CAP Clean, with the leading vehicle – an Audi A5 S-Line TFSI – achieving 181 per cent.
